Patti Gruber, head trainer at Xtreme Dressage, is most well know for her success in the Dressage arena with her Mustang Stallion Padre'. He is the first and only wild horse to qualify, compete & win at Dressage at Devon, the most prestigious Dressage show in the United States. Since 2010, their success has been chronicled online throughout the world, in magazines including Dressage Today and Practical Horseman, in two books and on a Breyer model horse made in Padre's likeness. Patti's personal horses Padre', Natural Beauty, Pe're and Spikeweiser have all been nationally ranked by the United States Dressage Federation every year they have competed. They compete in hand, under saddle at Dressage and Western Dressage and at 4-H shows. Patti continues to train and show Dressage and Western Dressage horses. All of her students who competed in the 2016 season qualified for their disciplines championships. At Western Dressage championships a youth student was Western Dressage Basic Level Champion and an adult student was Basic Level and Level One Champion. At Recognized USDF Region 2 championships a Youth student was top 10 and finished the season ranked #2 in the country and Patti's Jr student finished reserve champion for Dressage Seat Equitation and will be showing at the National Competition. Patti had 3 students showing at IDCTA Championships; A Jr rider at Intro level, a youth rider at Training Level and an adult rider at First Level, two were Reserve Grand Champion. Patti grew up showing Quarter Horses and Appaloosas in Breed, Open and 4-H shows. She enjoys working with traditional and non traditional horses in their disciplines. Patti has trained Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Friesians, Andalusians, Paints, Appaloosas, Morgan's, Palominos, Warmbloods, Mustangs and ponies in Dressage & Western.
